Singapore Table Tennis Women's team! I Love U!

I am currently adicted to watching table tennis matches of the Beijing Olympic Games 2008. They are so exciting! It reminds me of my great fancy for table tennis when I was young. But, oh well!

Anyway, Singapore won the Silver medal for group match but didnt win anything for single's match. I think it's ok because u will understand the difficulty of playing against such a great opponent if u guys have watched those matches. Zhang Yining ah! Difficult to defeat la. 1st ranking in the world leh. Anyway, I really think the Singapore team has faught hard and tried their best. They are my new and first ever sports idols. Especially Feng Tianwei! Fantastic table tennis player I think.

Many people are saying that our table tennis players 'were' from China and yes that's true. BUT, they 'are' singapore citizens alr. So y still wanna criticise? U think very easy to play in such a big show meh? PM Lee also said wat. China has 1.3 billion population and Singapore only has 4million. So we have to bring in foreign talents ma. Dun forget that the shirts they were wearing during the match has the Singapore Flag on it. So why still complain? Cant understand those pple who dosent really supports Li Jiawei and team.

Anyway, they have won a Silver and I think it's really very good alr.

So, wat have I been doing besides sticking to the TV to watch table tennis? Oh well, study for exams lo wat else? I will be starting a whole new life after 5st Sept. Quite excited tho. Time really flies. 15mths are almost over in just a blink of the eye. 2 more years to go.

Ok. Time to sleep. Nite. Maybe I will dream of Feng Tianwei tonight. Hahaha!

BEST SINGAPORE!

YAY! Singapore is gonna play China in the finals for pingpong this Sunday! Although this game wasnt won by Li Jiawei, it's ok. As long as Singapore gets to play in the finals. The game was won by a 21 year-old gal by the name of Fang Tianwei(I dunno how to spell la hor but something like this). She's Singapore's heroe ok! I think I am having a new ou xiang liao. I heard that Korea(lost the game to Fang Tianwei) actually placed Fang Tianwei in their list of opponents who are less threatening to them. Haha! So this teaches them a lesson of not to look down on youngsters and do not judge ur opponent by his/her age and competition experience. Oh! I'm really super duper excited now! :) I was really sitting in front of the TV and slamming table/remote control and yelling supports for the team. And now I'm feeling so hot!

Anyway, to be frank, this is the first game I've ever watched in any Olympic games. I, initially, not very interested who wins who loses. Since nth to do so I started watching and as the game goes, I felt more and more excited lo. Who say Singapore small den cannot do anything, cannot have any archievements?? Dun look down on us hor TW. Or I should arrow Mr. Li! Dun u ever dare say Singaporeans are stupid! Just shut it!

Anyway, big big CONGRATS to the Singapore Ping Pong team and of cos to us Singaporeans! Woohoo!!!!!!

I'm very happy toady cos I just earned some $$ from NOL. Hee. Not much tho but I think it's a good start. I'mgonna aim for another stock to buy. Maybe NOL again if oil prices goes up again. :P I'm also vey happy cos I bought the whole series of Harry potter books in hardcover at $240. Super excited. :D

How many of u watched the opening for Olympic Games 2008 last Fri? I did watch it anyway. Wah lao! The fireworks like free one. But very nice la. Actually I didnt watch from start till end. I only watch the part when the athelettes(wah i dunno how to spell) from different countries marched out. I was waiting and waiting for Sweden and Singapore which, both, happened to march the last few. But I wanna say, I think my geography is very very very lousy cos I actually never heard of most of the countries. Anyway, USA very hao lian hor. Bring so many pple to have war ah?

Ok let's talk about NDP. So poor thing leh the performers and the ministers, have to watch the parade in the rain. We were discussing dunno will LKY take umbrella anot. Eh eh...we are not being sarcastic hor. We were quite worried for him cos he so old and still have to sit in the rain?? Anyway, it was lucky that the rain stopped before the plane stuns. The stuns were fantastic man! Anyway, actually wanted to drive to ECP there(actually i dunno how to spell the name of the bridge. Isit Sheers? or Shears?) to watch fireworks and take photos but Daddy dun wan cos sure jam like hell. Anyway, after seeing the fireworks in the Olympic Games 200 opening ceremony, I didnt really feel any excitment for the NDP fireworks. But I never wished I was in Beijing. :P

The Mummy, Tomb Of The Dragon Emporor & Money No Enough

Wow! I watched 2 movies in two consecutive days. The Mummy on Tuesday and $$ No Enough just now. Never had so much of entertainment in such a short period of time. Anyway, both movies are really good, although I find The Mummy abit scary. But the storyline very creative I think. For those of u who didnt or havent watch it, a little spoiler, the Mummy is Qin Shi Huang! So the timeline is like aver 2000 years. I love movies/dramas with historical storyline. So I highly recommend The Mummy, Tomb Of The Dragon Emporor. 5*

Now comes to Money No Enough. A very typical Singaporean local movie with very Singaporean local storyline. I didnt watch part 1 actually. But it's ok cos no links between the storyline of the two parts. Anyway, it is super funny I think. A very good entertaining movie if u are feeling down recently. Haha! Some people may think local production is cheap-skate, or rather movies directed by Jack Neo are low class and cheap, ok I agree to a certain extent but is very realistic lo. Anyway, HK produced movies also very low class one ma, except some la like Wu Jian Dao. But Singapore culture is like that. So I also recommend this movie with 4*.

The next movie I'm gonna watch is 12 Lotus! 14 Aug also happens to be the 14th day of the 7th month in the chinese calendar. Hee. Must watch it in early evening. Cannot go home too late on that day. :)

p/s: I think is bcos I just watched The Mummy that I'm now downloading Tomb Raider Anniversary for my PSP. Dunno hao wan bu hao wan leh.

How come the weather is super warm these few days?! Piangz. Can just blow some wind anot? Dun rain nvm but at least blow some cool wind ma.

Have been having holiday for the past 3 days. U must be wondering how come got holiday. Yeap! 2 of the days were due to Law lecturer went off to Sydney dunno for wat and the remaning day was bcos I didnt attend class. aha. Aiya! Lab session super sian and slack. So didnt want to waste my time going to e lab and starring into space. Ok la. Not starring into space. Lab session sure use the lab's laptop to surf internet one ma. Students are like tt and I know myself super well that I know I will do tt. Hee. So stayed at home to do my Macroecons assignment.

WTH! The question so vague how on earth would I know wat is it asking for? Anyway, went to the lecturer today and now I know the ans.

Let me tell u an amazing thing. I started this sem on 1st of July, Tuesday, which aslo happened to be Macroecons lecture. Until the past Tuesday which was 29th July, den e Macroecons know about my eye condition. Fantastic man! Come to think of it, I am not sure if e ISB lecturer knows about it. I'm supr sure that e Law lecturer alr knew about it tho. Isnt it obvious? I have been using my manifying glass ever since I started attending 'school'. Furthermore, the classroom is not big lo. Dunno where they have been looking at. Ok la. Change 'they' to 'he'.

Today is Saturday! And it's a very warm Saturday. How I wish Singapore have winter. Hmm

Aiyo! Now HK having sale till 21st Sept! I wanna go! But...nobody wants to go leh. My mum and sis dun like warm weather. They say Singapore alr warm enough. HaiZz. Anybody out there wanna go? :)

Recently, I've been thinking of buying shares but I dun have much capital leh. I am currently bio-ing NOL, SPH, SGX and SingTel. Dunno which one is safer. I think safest is SGX cos it wont collapse one. But I think e drop in oil prices will do NOL good. Hmm. Must think really carefully. Or should I buy USD? Hmm.

A human life.

Aiyoyo! Seems like I have not been blogging for quite a long time alr.

Anyway, have been 'quite' busy doing school assignments. So far done half of the load. Hee. Seems like this semester not as 'cham' compared to previous semesters. I used to do assignments overnight but now I sleeps at 10 almost everyday since this semester commences.

10? 10?! U should be thinking 'something must have gone wrong'. BUT! It's true and I am certainly ALRIGHT! Just that when the clock strikes at 9, I will start yawning like hell. Although I sleeps so early every night, I can still finish my assignments on time and sometimes in advance wor.

Anyway, besides 'busy' preparing for assignments, I recently addicted to experimenting double eyelid tape. Hahaha! Yes. Double eyelid tape! My 'inner double eyelid' damn irritating. My drawn eyeliner ALWAYS went missing whenever my eyes are open. So do I have to walk around with my eyes closed? WTH!

Oh yes! Yesterday I downloaded a new PSP game called Secret Agent Clunk. Very interesting game. U are requited to spy secretly at some dunno wat place where they have soldiers and spotlights around to guard the place and if the spotlights shone on u den they will shoot some bomg at u and u have to avoid them.

OUCH!!!

Ouchie! Today quite suay la. Fell down on the way to bus stop outside the chool. Sigh! I actually took a few photos of the wounds but it really looks grose so wont post it.

Anyway, it is a routine for me to fall once at every school I went to. Dun mention primary school la, primary school sure more active so sure will injured urself often. Den secondary school, fell down at the school foyer. Den ITE, fell down on the stairs. And now, SIM. Eww!

Aiya,anyway just come here to write something only. Nothing much to update except that I'm currently starting my assignments, figuring out how to use double eyelid tapes and lose weight. Hahaha!

Recently really quite engrossed in 'beauty' stuff. Hee. Maybe I shall go to some chinese clinic/herbalist to consult about weight losing treatments. But I scared needle plke plke leh. Hmmm

A Little Story To Share

'One day, I was walking along on a shore with Lord. And den scenes of my past flashed before me, happy and sad, ups and downs. In the happy scenes, there were always two sets of footprints, mine and the Lord's. However, in the sad scenes, there was only one set of foot prints, mine. I turn to the Lord and asked, "You promised you'll never leave me. How come you left me when I'm in my most down period in life?". The Lord replied, "I did not left you. I am all alond with ou. It's just that I was carrying you when you were at your most down and sad period of time".'

I am not a chirstian or catholic but I heard this story during a wake I attended yesterday. I was really touched by it and I actually cried. I believe that God is with 'her' now, guiding her into eternal happiness. Never suffer or worry. I was never close to her but I noe she's a nice, kind hearted and inteligent person. I would say I still and will remember the times when we met. You'll always live in our heart. Amen!

Went to Tiong Bahru plaza with QX for steamboat buffet dinner at Rajar...erh...sorry I forgotten the name. Hee. Anyway, took quite a number of pics but hee lazy to resize it so erm not posting any. Anyway, the conclusion is...VERY NICE AND WU HUA!!

Basically did nothing much. Only stayed at home to rot.

Ha! This is the happening day! Attended Kenji Wu's music showcase at DragonFly. First time to step into a pub. Although only drank orange juice but still...its the atmostphere that counts. Anyway, went with Eunice and we were really very very close to the stage. Not more den 2metres I think. Eunice thinks he's shuai but erm I should say he's not bad looking. Hee. Oh! I also took alot of pics during the music showcase. Maybe I would only post it later ba. I'm really feeling tired now tho.

1st day of sch and abit sian tho. Although I din fell asleep, I was actually day dreaming. Haha.

Quite Relieved but A Little Sad As Well

Sigh! Just got my bridging maths results. Although I passed but it wasnt very satisfactory. I think my grade is considered as border line case. Oh well, at least I passed(sounds like come consolation prize).

Anyway, I still keep my promise to treat my family to dinner.

Oh dear! Now is almost 5 in the morning and I reckon it would happen in about 7hrs' time.

According to the course coordinator, the results for my bridging maths is releasing today. Exactly wat time I do not know but I think it should be around noon. I have alr promised to give a treat to my family at Crystal Jade if I passes. And also intend to look up at cameras. Oh I really hope and want to treat them.

Perhaps I shall turn in now. Exactly whether I could get to sleep I do not know as well. Hmm

Finally Done

Oh thank god! I have finally done with my eCR exercise. So, for now, if I pass my bridging Maths I will start my first UOL degree class on the 18th September(Thursday).

The thing is, I only left with 1 attempt ou of 4 to change my timetable cos:

1st attempt = chosen wrong elective(I was supposed to seek advice on what elective to choose for this academic yr but unfortunately cant find the person incharge so I tried doing it myself)

2nd attempt = changed my elective to HRM instead of taking CF this yr(finally reached the person incharge and she advised to take HRM first)

3rd attempt = I actually tot everything is set but realized POA and PBF classes clashes with my DMS final sem dates so called up the person again and she changed it for me.

So, now I cannot anyhow wanna make changes liao. I would have to stick to it no matter how. But I find it quite alright. Lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday and Fridays. Still not too bad I think. However, I actually preferred to put POA and PBF on the same day. Oh well. Better den nothing tho.

So now the only thing to worry is my bridging maths result which I was told by the course coordinator that it will come out on the coming monday. Oh dear! Nervous! It determines whether I will be granted with exemptions for yr 1 modules. So is like eat rice or eat porridge will depend on the result.

Gotta collect notes for the coming DMS semester(which is the final sem) tml afternoon. I have always felt excited to collect notes. Haha...dunno y. Erm...so next sem I will be having erh Biz Law, Info System and Macroecons. Oh dear! Biz Law! Wordy stuff again. Dun play play if not I sue u ah. Hee. Oh well. I expect the Biz Law textbook will be as thick as telephone guide. Dreads!

Oh no oh no! In case u din realize, I'm starting the new semester in 10days' time. And got orientation for UOL degree program on 1st July. Sian. Oh tt means I cannot attend the first lesson liao lo. Wah lao! Better dun put Biz Law on tt day hor. I dun wanna miss it. Or hopefully they can arrange the lessons to start on 2nd July. Better right. Hmmm

Out of boredom

I'm really quite bored now so I'm posting this entry due to pure boredom. For heaven sake! Who else would be so free to post pics of chocolate brands man. Yeh so I'll be the first one la.

Actually, the reason why I wanna post this pics is becos I wanna recommend it to u pple out there who fancies chocolates like myself. I actually only came acros to know this particular chocolate recently when I stepped into Candy Empire at CA T3. In fact, I never been into the shop before be it at Vivo or Millenia Walk. My purpose was actually to look for Calbury chocolates but I saw this instead. Initially, I was like ew...dunno nice anot cos frankly speaking the packaging wasnt tt attractive. But out of curiousiy, I bought one of this and I really love it lo. Very nice dark chocolate. Obviously it isnt sweet la. But not very bitter also leh.

Erh. I'm like advertising it for free leh. Oh well. Just try it if u like dark chocolates. It wont make u pute!

Another thing to recommend is this. I think alot of pple know this but well if u know wat is After Eight den just ignore me lo. I alr said I post this is becos I'm bored. And of cos, I LOVE sharing things and thoughts with pple. Hee

Anyway, this particular of chocolate is actually dark chocolate + mint. Best taste when u eat 2 at one go(my recommendations). There are actually alot of forms. I mean, apart from M&zMs shape-like form, I think they also have those like chewing gum type. Anyway, it's really nice and it can actually temporarily cure ur hunger. Hee. So try it. It wont make u pute!


Ok! Now for bday present showing off time. Haha. No la just wanna share with u guys wat I've got on my bday from QX. Tt I said I dun wanna post bcos I was lazy actually but now since I'm bored den might as well yeah.

This HP hang hang actually not really for bday sake la but she bought from Msia and I really find it very nice so yeah. In case u cannot see te shape of the little black thing, it's actually a mickey mouse head(blackened version). Haha. I actually asked her how come the face is black. Hee. But I appreciate it all the same. I really think it matches my phone leh. Hee. Ahem. If u think my sense of beauty got problem den so be it yeah. As long as I like it can liao. :p



Now come to real bday gift from her. See wat I meant? It really costs lo. Until now I still feel abit paiseh leh. Nvm. I treat u to a high class home made candle light dinner. Hee. Anyway, my mum also find it very nice, girlish and ex. Hee. U noe wat? Actually I once intended to buy some time ago when I saw it. That's to say I actually saw this pair of earings in a SK shop but I forgot the price. Lucky I din buy it tt time. Does it mean I have yuan fen with this pair of earings? And she know me so well that we xin you ling xi neh. Hee. Anyway, thanks again for it ya. :)

Disappointed

I dun wanna say why but I'm feeling quite disappointed tho. Nth to do with sch stuff but...oh well. I dun really understand how come things can turn out this way. Actually, I'm also feeling a little angry. Sigh! Oh well, just let it be la den. Wat else can I say? Forget it!

Everything's complicated and slow! So irritated!

Aiya! I have been busy reading up the program structure and the course registration stuff these few days and I'm still not quite able to get the hang of it. Until now I still havent receive what UOL study pack from the RELC which it's said that one should receive it a few weeks after submitting the application form. Oh well. I think I should call up the RELC to ask about it.

And this e-course registration thingy really....Why cant they just do it for us man. If not we pay so much they only handle the documents only meh? Should do something for us ma. And after attending the enrolment talk on Thursday, I was told that for SIM Diploma students cannot do the ecr ourselves wor. We have to call up someone to seek assistance. Damn it! And where is my Bridging Maths results?? Now my dip sem 4 results alr out but bridging maths is still missing. How many students only? Need such a long time to mark meh? Hurry up leh! I have to know whether I pass to know whether I'm exempted for tt particular unit anot ma, den can determine what modules I have to take for my degree rite?? So slow!

And SIM say the ecr for local students starts today lo (16th June) and how come until now havent see a thing leh? Now past midnight liao tt means 16 le ma. Nvm. I think I got another call to make in the morning liao.

Some happy things to direct my attention away from the slowness of everything. I no need to study alot of wordy stuff for my UOL degree. Maybe got a little bit in Financial Reporting but nvm. Lucky I din choose Business or Management if not got marketing, HRM and all these wordy stuff. EEEEE! Hate it hate it! Oh but got Auditing. Hmm. I actually got to see a past year Audit paper and the questions were all essay type lo. Ok nvm. Will just have to study harder for it then.

Another happy thing is that I will get to have a 2week break before the commencement of the degree classes if my exemptions are all granted. That means I have 2weeks free to do anything, whether to go on a really short holiday or stay home to sleep. But if wan go short holiday go where hao neh? Early September leh. HK? Bangkok? Hmm.
