A Piggy Bank Story

Once upon a time, there are two piggy banks. One, beautiful and glamerous but the other one, old and dirty.

Everybody places their coins into the beautiful one but noone is willing to put into the dirty one. As time passes, the beautiful one was filled with coins but the dirty one remained empty.

One day, the coins in the beautiful piggy bank were stolen and the piggy bank was crushed into pieces. As for the dirty piggy bank stayed put at the same place for a very long time and after many years, this piggy bank became an antique and was sold for milions of dollars.

Whichever piggy bank u decide, it will always be the right one for u cos its your own decision. To me, maybe I will keep the dirty one and after many years, sell it for milions of dollars but for some pple, they might choose to be the person who stole the coins.

I heard this story from a drama series. I find it very true and best describes human beings when deciding which route or decision to make. If you choose to be the person who stole the coins, you might be facing some difficulties during tt time so tt u choose to steal the coins to solve tt problem first. But if u choose to keep the dirty one, u are a milionaire now.

So whichever one u choose, to you, it may be the best one even though the pple around u dose not agree with u. But its all up to u to decide. Whichever one u choose, it will be the right one for u cos u chose it yourself.

Which One To Choose?

Hmm...Recently, there are many things in mind. Besides which School/course to choose, now I'm wondering which digital cam to choose.

Already short listed 3.

1. Nikon Coolpix L11
2. Nikon Coolpix L12
3. Canon Powershot A710 IS

Which is better leh? Dun wanna ask the salesman cos scared kana bluff. U noe some salesman will keng u one. So better to do some research first den go to the shop/store to choose. But now the problem is I dunno which one to pick.

Recently also thinking how to celebrate my 21st birthday. Most of the pple around me suggested a chalet cum bbq. But but but...June chalet quite ex and sure very full de. My mum suggested Genting which I personally dun mind but hmm... HaiZz...

Oh my god...Now is alr 2weeks after my exams le but the results arent out yet. So slow leh...Really gan jiong to noe wat grades i'm going to get ma. Mark so slow. They never tot of pple may need the results to apply for other school de wor. *complain*complain*complain*

A Temp Job?/A Temp Course?

As I've said in my previous entry, I'm more or less decided with the course offered by SIM. So wat am I going to do for the next 3mths+?

Cant get to sleep until 4am, wondering wat should I do for the 3mths ahead. Should I take up some foreign language courses or should I get a temp job. Unfortunately, no conclusion.

Met up with Xiao Xiang this morning for swimming. During the swimming session, we exchanged many of our own ideas on wat to do. Our conclusion is, find a temp first. So, we went to buy The Straits Times after the swimming session and looked up at the classified ads to see if any jobs are available. Found 1 or 2 but in the end I decided to give up on them cos i find it not very safe tho.

So, now I'm looking at the web to search. Found afew admin assistant positions and I'm sending in my CV later to apply. Hopefully I can get it, maybe not only for money but also for experience.

Alternatively, I shall take up some foreign language courses, for e.g Korean/French/Spanish...I dunno. Meanwhile, I shall try my best to lose some weight hahaha.

Pple say playing mahjong is a good form of brain exercise and I agree with it totally. From Sat onwards, I've been playing mahjong twice and the feeling was great, not physically of cos but mentally. So if anyone of u free and feels like playing, can contact me hahaha :-)

I understand that to accommodate to everyone's schedule is vvvv difficult especially when u have friends who are working. Although I'm really eager to have an overseas trip/grad trip with u guys, I can really understand. I'm, actually, not angry at all but jus abit shi wang. But its alright le. Next time den we go further places ba. Like, Korea? How's that? :-)

I'm Almost Decided

Have been thinking which course/school to choose for my diploma. I think I'm almost decided with the SIM Diploma in Management Studies.

I went to some chatrooms yesterday nite to see if i can find out more about the courses' info from the chatters in there. Almost everyone whom i have chated with advised me to take up the SIM one. Act i alr noe that SIM could be the best for me. But jus gather more info lo play safe.

Den I started to have the fear that there might have no one to help me. And den i tot of taking up the PSB one cos Xiao Xiang will be taking up and maybe we can be schoolmates, even classmates. But eventually i felt that this is not the main reason for whichever i wanna choose cos is the recognision of the cert tt matters most to me.

Initially I tot PSB's cert will be awarded by cambridge but i went to read up the info again and i realised it is awarded by PSB Academy itself. I started to ponder. Although Xiao Xiang told me that the person act told her the cert is from cambridge but i not very convinced. Is like two diff stories.

So i think SIM will be the best choice for me now. Although i alr knew it will be a tough job for me to travel damn far and have to cope with the staircases and with new classmates whom i wont noe whether they r tt helpful to me, I think that all this can be resolved as time passes by.

The chatters tole me that if i get the dip cert from SIM at the end of the 15 months, I will be granted exemption from the first yr degree from SIM Uni. Isnt it great? :) I hope i can really manage. they say there will be alot of project work. Hopefully i will get to join pple who r helpful and nice.

Which One Should I Go For?

Went to the various schools I have found to ask about the courses on Tuesday.

1st stop-SIM
At Clementi. Very far. haha. Took Train and den change bus to the school. The school is nice and quite well organised but wat i dun like about the school is that they have alot of staircases. Furthermore, their staircases dun have those colour divider one so very hard to see. The cert is awarded by SIM University one so I think more recognised and established ba.

2nd stop-PSB
At Tiong Bahru. This location not bad cos very near MRT station. Just need to walk abit and best is no staircases one. But I scared the cert not very recognised although they say the cert is awarded by Cambridge. When we reached the school at 2+PM, nobody one. So empty and quiet.

3rd stop-APMI
At Somerset. Quite far from MRT station(I feel). Not sure isit I dunno how to walk shortcut or wat neh. The courses they offering have more variety. Whereas SIM only have Management Studies and PSB only have Business Administration. But the cert APMI is awarding dunno come from where de. Din hear before.

Din go to MDIS cos alot pple say very lousy and the cert dosent worth its value so I think can forget it. Think APMI also can forget it la cos the cert really dunno from where de although they offer a variety of courses. *think think think* which one should i go for neh?

More Or Less Decided

Think I'm more or less decided with provate diploma but in wat area i dunno. But sure will be something to do with business studies or management or watever. As long as next time can sit in the office no need to go around.

Act, I prefer something like Hospitality but think have go go around so dun think i can so better choose some business admin or business management stuff.

I think wat u r interested in and wat u can study are totally different thing especially for cases like mine. Although I'm interested in accounts stuff but i really dun think any employer will employ an accountant like me, having the *defection* which I could never ever remove. Sorry for being straight but its true.
Just now looked at the class photos and it reminds me alot of things. Reminds me of not getting to see them in the near future. Reminds me of those memories with A. Reminds me of HIM. Reminds me of the days when I ...... Reminds me of lotsa lotsa things. The good and the bad. :~(

Though I've more or less decided with wat to study next, I'm not decided with wat to do during this holiday. My sister suggested to look for a temp job which I think could be possible. At least to gain some experience. Or should I take up a 3rd language course?

Finally Over

Had my last paper of my final exam today. Abit difficult but alright. Now holidays started and its time for me to think about what I should do during this long holiday.

Think I'll sign up for some foreign language courses or maybe a short-term piano course. Hmm...

I was wondering whether I should really study the accounting course. What my sis have said about the difficulty for me to work as an accountant is true. Am I really able to cope with time constraining and need to look at numbers accurately? Or maybe should I take up private diploma in some other espects instead? I dunno.

Does The Management Know Their Staff?

On walking into the factory, the MD noticed a young guy leaning against the wall, doing nothing. He approached the young man and calmly said to him "How much do you earn?" The young man was quite amazed that he was asked such a personal question, he replied, none the less, "I earn $2000.00 a month, Sir. Why?" Without answering, the MD took out his wallet and removed $6000.00 cash and gave it to the young man and said, "Around here I pay people for working, not for standing around looking pretty! Heare is 3 months' salary, now GET OUT and don't come back." The young man turned around and was quickly out of sight. Noticing a few onlookers, the MD said in a very upset manner, "And this applies for everybody in this company."

He approached one of the onlookers and asked him, "Who's the young man that I just fired?"

To which an amazing reply came, "He was the pizza delivery man, Sir...!!!"

Today is Chinese New Year's Eve le. Just had steamboat for my reunion dinner. Super full! This year is the year of the PIG and hopefully i wont be a PIG! HaHaHa.

SUPER ANGRY

i just handed in my TPS, CDP and Audit projects. There's this girl(shall name her as Miss G). This Miss G was my project group for those 3 modules. But this Miss G hardly turn up for lessons(dun even talk about project discussion) and also din provide any constructive idea to it. Ok nvm about this. As i said she hardly comes to school and on that day she came for the CDP lesson and typed a perthatic page of the report(out of 7 pages). And worse still, she TOT she already contributed ALOT. Ok nvm. Type alr ok. Done. Den TPS. She din even contribute any idea to it and on the last day of the preparation, she called another group member and asked her "anything tt i can edit for the ppt slides?" It was alr 11+pm le lo. Next day presentation at 8am leh. Ppl need to sleep de lo. Den she keep pastering my friend to send her the ppt slides. Ok since she wan den send it to her den wat she said was she wanna edit the english. Fine! Since she THINKS tt her english is SO FANTASTIC den ok. But...I need to print out the slides and wat time she send her SO CALL edited ppt slides to me? 1+am. Really madness. And the worse was, she din edit much. ok calm down calm down! Now Audit. Suppose to hand in the financial statements and the Auditor's Report in black and white. The whole group only i have a printer so ok no problem for printing. But...i waited for her email until 10+pm but still din recieve so i smsed her telling her i din receive er email. Her reply was "i send alr. U din check isit?" Really heated up the moment i saw this sentence. Her reply was at 11+. Den i went back to check again and the email was sent at nearly 11pm. SHE'S REALLY A...........................IDIOT!!!!

Two and a half months to graduate. So fast. Time realy flies man. So fast this year becoming adult le. Stress!!! Wondering how to celebrate leh. My mum suggested go genting cos can go casino but..... dunno leh. Slowly think ba.

Wah piang. I really have nothing much to rite le la. Maybe wait till CNY den got lotsa things to say lo. Anayway, HAPPY 2007 EVERYONE!!! Although its a very late greeting. :P

First Entry Of The New Year

WAH WAH WAH!!! It's the first day of 2007. Wish all of u a Happy and Cheerful New Year ahead. :D

Yesterday was New Year's eve and I went to DTE with my family to countdown leh. Wah DTE was super crowded lo. Everyone was holding all thoes sprays and spraying around lo. Was afraid that I might kana the liquid so we hide ourselves behind a big sign board. HaaHaa was so funny. We even bought thoes little pulling-bombs to play lo. So bo liao anyway. Was fun la. So how did u guys celebrate new year leh??!!

Time flies. So fast 2007 alr. Meaning everyone's older by 1 yr le. Hai... LKK liao. But come to think of it, new year very sian leh. Act nothing much to do de. I have been staying at home with my computer for the past 2 weeks le wor. Nowadays playing with neopets. Super bo liao tho but at least can keep my time occupied.

Have Been Ill For These Few Days

First week of the holiday has passed and now Im ill. Having running nose and cough. Super sian...Cant even go for the X-mas celebration at my uncle's place. Now alone at home and wat I can do is to watch tv/surf net/sleep. Super boring.

Actually din do much things for the past one week. These few days starting to rain aain. Not only the weather is moody but also my mood is moody. *sick*

Long Long Update

Mood: Not too bad cos holiday has started

It has been a long while since I last updated my blog. Holiday has now started and what am I intending to do during this holiday leh?? HeeHee...Will try my very best to lose weight. Will do more exercise for e.e skipping, jogging, hoola-hooping, etc etc. Oh of cos have to eat less fatty, heaty, hi-carbo, oily, etc etc food. Lets see how much I can lose. Hmmm...And going to consult the doctor for my pimple problem. Have been intending to go but no time leh. So, finally, going to make booking tml. Hopefully by school re-open this problem is solved. HaiZz...

My cell phone was spoilt for twice already. Really thinking of changing for a new one. But...but...I'm gonna wait. Wait till April and thats when I am going to change.

Ah!!! Burst!!!

Went out with Urnice on Tuesday to kbox @ MS for a 2-7 ktv session. HaaHaa we sung so many songs eh. Alot of songs from F.I.R. Especially when we singing the Tian Tian Ye Ye by F.I.R so high. Sung it thrice. Haahaa. We also brought mac in to eat. Act is cannot bring outside food one. But she hige it in her new and super pink harversack(dunno how to spell it) and smuggled it in.

Met Kiyoko at tamp early in the morning 9am. haahaa. Act wanna have breakfast at starbucks but humph dun have breakfast set sell lo. My sis bluff me say got. We ended up ordering a small moka frap, dun wan cream, dun wan anything and a small piece of rapsberry cheesecake. HaiZz...Poor us. haahaa. But...but...but... heehee after that we went to eat BUFFET. I dun believe it man. We sat at the restaurant from 11.45-3!!! 3 1/4 hrs leh!!!. We were super full lo. Most impt is that the price is $23.10 per pac after double plus. Quite cheap lo. heehee well after that I went to meet my violin to fix my fine tuners. haiZz...end up she burst the E-string lo. And now E-string out of stock lo. HaiZz...

Say until here sian liao. No mood to type le. haiZz...the set of string costs $100+ leh and she jus burst it like this. AH!!! :(

This Week's Updates

Weather: Rainy day-very cooling :D

Hmm this week can be considered as a boring week ba. Din do much again. Jus went out with Urnice on sat. I cant believe that we can stay out at tamp until 11pm. Haa. Unimaginable!!! Den Sun went to tamp(again) with my mum and sis for shopping. Bought nothing in the end tho. hee. Den today went to school as usual lo. Today got test but haiZz...dun wish to talk about it. Stupid Cash Flow!!! haa but tml skipping school(again) and going out with Urnice to town.

Long Updates

Tuesday: Actually nothing much had happened(I think). haha Cos dun really remember wat I have done that day. The only thing I remember is that I went to school for the AA2 lesson in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Skipped school cos dun wanna go for the School of Business Day activity. Waste time. haha. So met up with Zhen, Juan and Julian at J8 for shopping. But I was late, super late in fact. Supposed to meet them at 11.30 but in the end I arrived Bishan at 1.30. haha Over-slept. Den walked around at J8 for awhile den change shopping venue to the pasamalam outside J8. Den ah...erh...went home le lo. haha sounds boring but the details very interesting and fun la. Oh bought a Detol shower cream from NTUC. The sales person said it contains aloe vera so very good for skin. haha used for a few days le. So far ok lo. Not much differece tho.
Thursday: Went to school for lesson as usual. But my throat was really bad that day. Nearly no voice haiZz. Den went for the last and final violin lesson at the M school. Wah...the teacher sounded very cham like that. haha. Long story.
Friday: Ended school at 11 so went for violin lesson at Yamaha at 12.45 den after that went home by train lo. HaiZz... Den ah...erh...nothing much le ba.
Saturday: Stayed at home id nothing! :( Wat a boring day!!!
Sunday: Went town for shopping with mum and sisters. Bought a jewelery box/house. Hee. So cute.
Monday: Went home from school at 12 den went to TM to meet my mum for shopping again. But bought nothing tho. haiZz...
Today: Met up with Kiyoko in the noon to eat brunch. Den sent my hp for service. HAIZZ... Loudspeaker auto-on by itself eh. After that, went to school for the 2-hour lesson. Den erh...came home le lo.

Things in mind: Thinking of practicing my violin and do some drawing later. Maybe going over to WS to get the CD and etc. :D Also, wach the Gong vcds. Prince Lu is so shuai!!! :P

Have been suffering from a sore throat since fri nite. But ok la not very bad. Still can talk. HeeHee Took this opportunity to skip school for a day.

Went for violin lesson on fri with my new violin. The teacher is really good. I like her more eh. I suddenly realised how much things that former teacher never taught me. Until fri I only noe how to read the note but not the symbols indicating up/down bows, mf/mp, etc etc. HaiZz... Luckily current teacher is willing to teach me. If not, haiZz...

Oh the teacher told me that my new bow does not suit my new violin. Meaning this bow not able to produce the best sound quality of the violin. Hmmm...Maybe I have to go back to that S shop and wat I can do and wat can the shop pple can do. Although the bow and everything were included in the package, the bow was taken out from another drawer. Which means, should be able to exchange for a better one. But when the teacher told me that maybe a good bow will cost about $900-$1k. I was stunned!!! haiZz...If exchange have to pay a little more I dun mind la. Cos since buy such a ex violin le den of cos have to find a bow which can produce the best of the violin rite. :P Calling the sales person tml again cos she yesterday she not around.

YEYE!!!

Yeye!!! Finally bought my violin. After trying so many different types of violin, fianlly settled with this. Act wanted to buy the $3.8k tt one but scared the reputation of the seller. It is not a shop but its just a little house and normally dun open door for public de. They only do business with those old and regular customers. But tt violin's sound is really good. Its wat I have been looking for. Round, clear, etc etc. But den, I still went back to that S shop, especially selling violins. Wow!!! So finally decided with the $2k one. But before this, I saw a $3k de but is used violin but the sound is also very good. But got scratches leh. If not, I think I will prefer the $3k one. HeeHee. But I'm still very happy with this $2k one. Think should be able to last until I grade8. Den maybe until den, if I wanna proceed to diploma den can get a superb one. HaaHaa. :D

Monday

Skipped sch. :P Met up with Zhen, Juan, Jerry and Julian. Dun be mistaken that I skipped sch was because of meeting up with them. Went to Harbour Front/Vivocity for brunch den walk around vivocity. Wow! Its really big. Den decided to go kbox for the 2-6 slot. Haha Sing until no voice eh. Den had Niang Dou Fu for dinner. Haha That dinner made me realise something. My arm restling very lousy. Den send Juan and Jerry to the train station. But Zhen, Julian and me decided to go play bowling. End up we leave MS at around 9+.

Went to school.

Went to the violin shops to see see my violin on Thursday afternoon. Hmm...I really dun like German violins. Now my budget has ran up to $2000-$3000+ liao. heehee.

Started my new lesson at yamaha on Friday afternoon. Its good. The teacher quite nice and friendly. Think I din make the wrong choice. :D

Saturday

Went to orchard with my mom and sister. Heehee. Finally bought my mp3 player. Small, nice and hmm cheap(ok la). 2GB for $239. Ok le la.

A Boring Weekend

Friday

Did nothing much in the afternoon. Went to popular in the evening and bought 2 high-quality drawing block and a 48-colour oil pastel. Recently, pick up drawing again. Din touch for almost 10 years. Cant really think of anything to draw. haahaa. Wah!!! Nowadays alot of new drawing products eh (compared to 10 years ago la). Really felt like buying everything lo. But of cos I didnt la. If not I sure broke le lo. Den at nite drew something which I seriously think that cannot be presented. haahaa.

Saturday

Wah!!! Basically did nothing leh. Not kidding. :P

Today

Also did nothing lo. Watch tv consider as doing something?? :PP Dun think I'm going to school tomorrow.
