Wat a laggy system!

U noe hor, yesterday I woke up at 7.30am neh. Super early rite for me. Hee actually was awadened by the rain not by nature de la. I dun think in any case I will wake by nature tt early lo unless got school la.

Yesterday Robinson got sale so my mum, 2nd sis and I went to centrepoint to shop shop. Before tt we were actually at Isetan Scotts de but Isetan only got sale tml so we go see see wat things we wanna buy at Isetan den tml go buy.

Robinson was so crowded! Especially the shoes department. Everyone's lacking of shoes to wear isit? Haha. Anyway, we managed to buy something la but not shoes. Hee

We shop till 6+ den I go meet Xiao Xiang at TM Genki for dinner. We sat there for almost 2hrs wor. Took some pics but cannot upload now so will upload them later. Xiang, thanks for the cheesecake. Very nice. U promise to make oreo cheesecake for me de huh...:P

I'm blogging here again and I think I wont be blogging on the wordpress one anymore cos the uploading of photos in wordpress is so chim and slow. So I still prefer blogspot ba cos photos easier to upload. Hee...But if u wanna keep the wordpress url its fine for me although I wont be blogging on it anymore but i wont delete it so ya. Hee

Kbox On Labour Day

The Good Wood Park Dinner

Yesterday evening, the whole of our family went to Good Wood Park Hotel for dinner. heehee u must be thinking tt we are so rich ah to go GWP for dinner. haha! The truth is, we went there to try out the wedding dishes for my 2nd sis’ wedding dinner.

Basically, everything’s fine but the sharkfins was DELICIOUS! I always fancies sharkfins alot! But I did not take any pics of the sharkfins cos was too engross in the taste of it. I was SO full! I felt like I’ve put on a few kgs after the dinner. Woof. That was y I did not go online. Too tired to do anything so I watched tv instead.

Today went to Orchard to shop for my clothings for the wedding dinner and church ceremony. We went to Tangs but din buy anything cos the dresses there were either for more mature or too low. Hee! And some are too SMALL! Humph! Nvm! After that, we walked over to Wisma Atrial’s Top Shop. Hmm…Not too bad.

Although we stayed there for around 2hrs, I tried about 10 pieces (including bottoms…not only tops) and eventually, I bought only TWO tops. Hee! Both jacket-like tops. Wah…only two pieces hor, it alr cost us $200+ le wor. Very ex! But ok la. If long long time once den ok lo and somemore its for my sis’ wedding.

Have violin lesson tml but for the past whole week, I din practice. Sigh! Must wake up early tml to practice.

For the past few days, I slept till 2-3pm. I think its because I slept very late in the previous nitghts. Think I have to try and sleep earlier if not like tt no good for health. Hee!

Experimenting My New Camera :P

HeeHee...I spent sat nite, yest nite and jus now experimenting my new canon camera. Intersting wor. It has so many modes for different situations and some unknown functions. hee.

I think i mentioned before in one of my recent post tt this camera comes with free gifts including a 2GB SD card and a digital kit bag withch includes a cleaning kit, tripod and 1 more thing which i've forgotten wats tt. Den jus now, the vest denki called me and said tt the digital kit bag is out of stock. WTH! 1 of the reason i bought this camera is bcos of its freebies lo and now he is telling me tt the digital kit bag no more le?! Wat nonsense! He told me that they r replacing the bag with an extra 1GB SD and a card reader. Siao!. Wat for i need so many memory card? CPU also got SD card reader ma. Wat for i wan an external card reader? Anyway, we insisted on wanting the bag so the best denki person said he'll check with the canon ple. I dun care how are they gg to shen chu the bag but i jus wan it!

Yesterday went to eat suki sushi buffet. WAH WAH WAH! We ate almost 20 plates of sashimi which includes swordfish, yellowtale, scallop and of cos my favourite, salmon! Woof...the salmon's so thick and fresh. Hee. But I din take pics of the salmon cos busy eating and concentrating on the salmons. haha. Never had so many salmons in a day. Yum Yum! :P

Very Happy Today

Went to tamp to meet Eunice and Zhenzhen at around 5+. But..before that, I went to Best Denki to buy my bday present(from my family), a digital camera. Actually, I wanted a xbox360 game set but finally i decided to buy camera cos I think more constructive ba.

Before I got to decide with this IXUS 75, I actually considering another IXUS 850 de but a little bit more ex. But the 850 has image stabalisation function and its more ex by $50. The 75 is 3inch LCD one so in the end, i chose 75 although it dosent have IS. The person say IS, for nowadays, dosent really matters alot. I actually agree with tt too cos I think very seldom I will need to run/chase/move when taking a shot. haha

Just finished experimenting the camera but some features still not very sure how to use but I've decided to bring it along tml to meet Eunice and Zhenzhen to test test. I'm really excited! heehee. Nv had a camera of my own. I'm prepared to take pics of sashimi tml haha. Or rather, later cos now alr 2+am le.

Besides being happy to own a digital camera, I'm feeling sad cos recently a few of my friends not very kai xin. *sigh*. Anyway, hope they can get over it very soon although i noe its difficult but pls remember tt no matter wat happens, me this friend will be there for u. :P

Tml gg to meet Nice and Zhen for buffet lunch. heehee got lotsa salmon sashimi waiting for me to eat haha. I shall take some photos of them and post it onto my blog. hee :P

Sicked

Damn irritated with my sore throat. Until now, my throat is still soring like hell man. Sickening! Why suddenly like tt? When will it recover leh?

Yesterday played with my mum and sister. humph! Lost about $5++. But actually lost much more de but half way through, I wore my crystal bracelet tts y lost only $5+. Next time jia you ba.

Today I did a very big project. heehee. I reformated my PC system. Wa...super tired. Met problems when installing the wireless adapter. Den no choice have to call up the singnet customer service officer to ask lo but the officer seemed like got interpretation problem. Spoke to him for almost 45mins den solve the problem. But luckily is my 2nd sis call de not me haha if not i sure pek cek de. After all the installation, heehee I shifted my computer into my room le. So now i can enjoy the aircon while using the computer. hee.

Yeh yeh...Tml gg to eat sushi again(most probably) with Kiyoko. hee i wanna eat salmon sashimi again. Yummy yummy.

HaiZz...until now i still havent apply for my SIM diploma wor. Hmm...think by next or week after next have to go apply le. HaiZz...Have to adapt to a new environment soon. Stress!

Finally, I think i decided with the Canon Digital IXUS 75 le. Tried it out at the store le. Pic quality not bad and small enuff. Quite user friendly too. Most importantly, now got a special promo which, the package, includes a 2GB SD care, some dunno wat cleaning kit and 1 or 2 more which I cant really remember wat were those. Anyway, I think its quite a good deal. But have to buy an extra batt lo. Hmm...but $599 abit ex hor heehee :P

Dreadful

I'm sicked of being sick again. Dreadful.

Was with Eunice and Zhen yesterday. Went for k-lunch den to TCC for a drink and a piece of TCC's Oreo Cheesecake. Very nice. Den Eunice vrought us to Expo to watch the CHCa Ester performance. Quite interesting.

While watching the performance, my sore throat starts to form. How can a person being sick twice in a month? Rediculous! And tt's me. I'm quite sure that I did not had any chocolates or too much heaty food recently. So, my sis claimed that its the mike of the kbox which i wont doubt tt cos public mikes are normally quite full of germs. haiZz

But i wont say that i will never go for ktv anymore. I'll jus have to be more careful, not to place the mike too close to my mouth.

After the performance, we went to TM Genki Sushi for dinner. We went there cos I need the greentea to reduce the soreness of my throat. haha. Lame! Basically, we had a Salmon meal yesterday. We did not order anything other den Salmon related dishes. Salmon sashimi, salmon sushi and spicy salmon sushi. Wah... :-)

Applying Soon

Yup yup...Decided with SIM le. Soon, going to take pics and prepare all the needed docs and den can hand in the form le. Very excited. Dunno how it will be in a totally new environment with new pple and calssmates around me.

HMM...Today I short listed 11 digital cameras for consideration. Wa all the descriptions i dunno wat toking them. haha but ok la... Think all should have those basic features.

Oh one more thing which i think quite impt, which is, how to determine whether this camera model can be used in all types of weather/temperature. If ask the salesman i think he wont noe ba somemore even if he say he noes dunno whether real or bluff.

Help me think think ba. Act i short listed about 20 initially but my sis say this dun wan tt dun wan so end up with only left 11. haha :)

A Piggy Bank Story

Once upon a time, there are two piggy banks. One, beautiful and glamerous but the other one, old and dirty.

Everybody places their coins into the beautiful one but noone is willing to put into the dirty one. As time passes, the beautiful one was filled with coins but the dirty one remained empty.

One day, the coins in the beautiful piggy bank were stolen and the piggy bank was crushed into pieces. As for the dirty piggy bank stayed put at the same place for a very long time and after many years, this piggy bank became an antique and was sold for milions of dollars.

Whichever piggy bank u decide, it will always be the right one for u cos its your own decision. To me, maybe I will keep the dirty one and after many years, sell it for milions of dollars but for some pple, they might choose to be the person who stole the coins.

I heard this story from a drama series. I find it very true and best describes human beings when deciding which route or decision to make. If you choose to be the person who stole the coins, you might be facing some difficulties during tt time so tt u choose to steal the coins to solve tt problem first. But if u choose to keep the dirty one, u are a milionaire now.

So whichever one u choose, to you, it may be the best one even though the pple around u dose not agree with u. But its all up to u to decide. Whichever one u choose, it will be the right one for u cos u chose it yourself.

Which One To Choose?

Hmm...Recently, there are many things in mind. Besides which School/course to choose, now I'm wondering which digital cam to choose.

Already short listed 3.

1. Nikon Coolpix L11
2. Nikon Coolpix L12
3. Canon Powershot A710 IS

Which is better leh? Dun wanna ask the salesman cos scared kana bluff. U noe some salesman will keng u one. So better to do some research first den go to the shop/store to choose. But now the problem is I dunno which one to pick.

Recently also thinking how to celebrate my 21st birthday. Most of the pple around me suggested a chalet cum bbq. But but but...June chalet quite ex and sure very full de. My mum suggested Genting which I personally dun mind but hmm... HaiZz...

Oh my god...Now is alr 2weeks after my exams le but the results arent out yet. So slow leh...Really gan jiong to noe wat grades i'm going to get ma. Mark so slow. They never tot of pple may need the results to apply for other school de wor. *complain*complain*complain*

A Temp Job?/A Temp Course?

As I've said in my previous entry, I'm more or less decided with the course offered by SIM. So wat am I going to do for the next 3mths+?

Cant get to sleep until 4am, wondering wat should I do for the 3mths ahead. Should I take up some foreign language courses or should I get a temp job. Unfortunately, no conclusion.

Met up with Xiao Xiang this morning for swimming. During the swimming session, we exchanged many of our own ideas on wat to do. Our conclusion is, find a temp first. So, we went to buy The Straits Times after the swimming session and looked up at the classified ads to see if any jobs are available. Found 1 or 2 but in the end I decided to give up on them cos i find it not very safe tho.

So, now I'm looking at the web to search. Found afew admin assistant positions and I'm sending in my CV later to apply. Hopefully I can get it, maybe not only for money but also for experience.

Alternatively, I shall take up some foreign language courses, for e.g Korean/French/Spanish...I dunno. Meanwhile, I shall try my best to lose some weight hahaha.

Pple say playing mahjong is a good form of brain exercise and I agree with it totally. From Sat onwards, I've been playing mahjong twice and the feeling was great, not physically of cos but mentally. So if anyone of u free and feels like playing, can contact me hahaha :-)

I understand that to accommodate to everyone's schedule is vvvv difficult especially when u have friends who are working. Although I'm really eager to have an overseas trip/grad trip with u guys, I can really understand. I'm, actually, not angry at all but jus abit shi wang. But its alright le. Next time den we go further places ba. Like, Korea? How's that? :-)

I'm Almost Decided

Have been thinking which course/school to choose for my diploma. I think I'm almost decided with the SIM Diploma in Management Studies.

I went to some chatrooms yesterday nite to see if i can find out more about the courses' info from the chatters in there. Almost everyone whom i have chated with advised me to take up the SIM one. Act i alr noe that SIM could be the best for me. But jus gather more info lo play safe.

Den I started to have the fear that there might have no one to help me. And den i tot of taking up the PSB one cos Xiao Xiang will be taking up and maybe we can be schoolmates, even classmates. But eventually i felt that this is not the main reason for whichever i wanna choose cos is the recognision of the cert tt matters most to me.

Initially I tot PSB's cert will be awarded by cambridge but i went to read up the info again and i realised it is awarded by PSB Academy itself. I started to ponder. Although Xiao Xiang told me that the person act told her the cert is from cambridge but i not very convinced. Is like two diff stories.

So i think SIM will be the best choice for me now. Although i alr knew it will be a tough job for me to travel damn far and have to cope with the staircases and with new classmates whom i wont noe whether they r tt helpful to me, I think that all this can be resolved as time passes by.

The chatters tole me that if i get the dip cert from SIM at the end of the 15 months, I will be granted exemption from the first yr degree from SIM Uni. Isnt it great? :) I hope i can really manage. they say there will be alot of project work. Hopefully i will get to join pple who r helpful and nice.

Which One Should I Go For?

Went to the various schools I have found to ask about the courses on Tuesday.

1st stop-SIM
At Clementi. Very far. haha. Took Train and den change bus to the school. The school is nice and quite well organised but wat i dun like about the school is that they have alot of staircases. Furthermore, their staircases dun have those colour divider one so very hard to see. The cert is awarded by SIM University one so I think more recognised and established ba.

2nd stop-PSB
At Tiong Bahru. This location not bad cos very near MRT station. Just need to walk abit and best is no staircases one. But I scared the cert not very recognised although they say the cert is awarded by Cambridge. When we reached the school at 2+PM, nobody one. So empty and quiet.

3rd stop-APMI
At Somerset. Quite far from MRT station(I feel). Not sure isit I dunno how to walk shortcut or wat neh. The courses they offering have more variety. Whereas SIM only have Management Studies and PSB only have Business Administration. But the cert APMI is awarding dunno come from where de. Din hear before.

Din go to MDIS cos alot pple say very lousy and the cert dosent worth its value so I think can forget it. Think APMI also can forget it la cos the cert really dunno from where de although they offer a variety of courses. *think think think* which one should i go for neh?

More Or Less Decided

Think I'm more or less decided with provate diploma but in wat area i dunno. But sure will be something to do with business studies or management or watever. As long as next time can sit in the office no need to go around.

Act, I prefer something like Hospitality but think have go go around so dun think i can so better choose some business admin or business management stuff.

I think wat u r interested in and wat u can study are totally different thing especially for cases like mine. Although I'm interested in accounts stuff but i really dun think any employer will employ an accountant like me, having the *defection* which I could never ever remove. Sorry for being straight but its true.
Just now looked at the class photos and it reminds me alot of things. Reminds me of not getting to see them in the near future. Reminds me of those memories with A. Reminds me of HIM. Reminds me of the days when I ...... Reminds me of lotsa lotsa things. The good and the bad. :~(

Though I've more or less decided with wat to study next, I'm not decided with wat to do during this holiday. My sister suggested to look for a temp job which I think could be possible. At least to gain some experience. Or should I take up a 3rd language course?

Finally Over

Had my last paper of my final exam today. Abit difficult but alright. Now holidays started and its time for me to think about what I should do during this long holiday.

Think I'll sign up for some foreign language courses or maybe a short-term piano course. Hmm...

I was wondering whether I should really study the accounting course. What my sis have said about the difficulty for me to work as an accountant is true. Am I really able to cope with time constraining and need to look at numbers accurately? Or maybe should I take up private diploma in some other espects instead? I dunno.

Does The Management Know Their Staff?

On walking into the factory, the MD noticed a young guy leaning against the wall, doing nothing. He approached the young man and calmly said to him "How much do you earn?" The young man was quite amazed that he was asked such a personal question, he replied, none the less, "I earn $2000.00 a month, Sir. Why?" Without answering, the MD took out his wallet and removed $6000.00 cash and gave it to the young man and said, "Around here I pay people for working, not for standing around looking pretty! Heare is 3 months' salary, now GET OUT and don't come back." The young man turned around and was quickly out of sight. Noticing a few onlookers, the MD said in a very upset manner, "And this applies for everybody in this company."

He approached one of the onlookers and asked him, "Who's the young man that I just fired?"

To which an amazing reply came, "He was the pizza delivery man, Sir...!!!"

Today is Chinese New Year's Eve le. Just had steamboat for my reunion dinner. Super full! This year is the year of the PIG and hopefully i wont be a PIG! HaHaHa.

SUPER ANGRY

i just handed in my TPS, CDP and Audit projects. There's this girl(shall name her as Miss G). This Miss G was my project group for those 3 modules. But this Miss G hardly turn up for lessons(dun even talk about project discussion) and also din provide any constructive idea to it. Ok nvm about this. As i said she hardly comes to school and on that day she came for the CDP lesson and typed a perthatic page of the report(out of 7 pages). And worse still, she TOT she already contributed ALOT. Ok nvm. Type alr ok. Done. Den TPS. She din even contribute any idea to it and on the last day of the preparation, she called another group member and asked her "anything tt i can edit for the ppt slides?" It was alr 11+pm le lo. Next day presentation at 8am leh. Ppl need to sleep de lo. Den she keep pastering my friend to send her the ppt slides. Ok since she wan den send it to her den wat she said was she wanna edit the english. Fine! Since she THINKS tt her english is SO FANTASTIC den ok. But...I need to print out the slides and wat time she send her SO CALL edited ppt slides to me? 1+am. Really madness. And the worse was, she din edit much. ok calm down calm down! Now Audit. Suppose to hand in the financial statements and the Auditor's Report in black and white. The whole group only i have a printer so ok no problem for printing. But...i waited for her email until 10+pm but still din recieve so i smsed her telling her i din receive er email. Her reply was "i send alr. U din check isit?" Really heated up the moment i saw this sentence. Her reply was at 11+. Den i went back to check again and the email was sent at nearly 11pm. SHE'S REALLY A...........................IDIOT!!!!

First Entry Of The New Year

WAH WAH WAH!!! It's the first day of 2007. Wish all of u a Happy and Cheerful New Year ahead. :D

Yesterday was New Year's eve and I went to DTE with my family to countdown leh. Wah DTE was super crowded lo. Everyone was holding all thoes sprays and spraying around lo. Was afraid that I might kana the liquid so we hide ourselves behind a big sign board. HaaHaa was so funny. We even bought thoes little pulling-bombs to play lo. So bo liao anyway. Was fun la. So how did u guys celebrate new year leh??!!

Time flies. So fast 2007 alr. Meaning everyone's older by 1 yr le. Hai... LKK liao. But come to think of it, new year very sian leh. Act nothing much to do de. I have been staying at home with my computer for the past 2 weeks le wor. Nowadays playing with neopets. Super bo liao tho but at least can keep my time occupied.
